Toward new infection control measures that do not rely on masks: Aerosol infection control × Improvement of air conditioning systems
Keifu Ag+ is a next-generation air filter that captures fine particles, viruses, and bacteria in the air, and provides antibacterial and inactivation effects simply by attaching it to an air conditioner.
Now that wearing a mask is left to individual discretion, measures against airborne viruses and bacteria in indoor spaces are shifting away from relying on each person's awareness toward an era where they are handled automatically through the power of facilities and equipment.
The next-generation air filter "Keifu Ag+", which incorporates Fujifilm's sustained antibacterial technology "Hydro-Ag+", is a solution that can upgrade the sanitary environment of an entire space simply by replacing the filter in your current air conditioner.
Do you have these facility concerns or issues?
We want to strengthen infectious disease and aerosol countermeasures, but we cannot afford the cost or hassle...
Want to cut maintenance costs...
Want to improve indoor air quality (IAQ)...
We want to improve the environment, but we don't have the budget for major air conditioning installation work or renovations...

Keifu Ag+ solves those concerns together.
Japan Medix proposes and calculates the optimal filters tailored to your air conditioner.

4 reasons why the super-hydrophilic sustained antibacterial filter "Keifu Ag+" is chosen
High-performance capture x antibacterial hybrid
It reliably captures even fine particles that used to pass through conventional filters. It dramatically improves indoor air cleanliness.

Adopts Fujifilm's "Hydro-Ag+" persistent antibacterial agent
Fujifilm's advanced coating technology imparts powerful antibacterial properties across the entire surface of the filter.
- Silver ions act continuously to inactivate captured bacteria and viruses
- Antibacterial power self-renews and lasts

Washable/reusable to cut costs (up to 3 times)
Can be reused repeatedly while maintaining performance through cleaning at a dedicated plant. Contributes to significantly reducing life cycle costs.

Easy one-touch install (no construction)
No troublesome installation is required at all. Simply remove your current air conditioner filter and replace it.
- No filter box required
- Can be installed as-is on the intake grille

3 key benefits of installation
Better air quality
It reliably catches fine dust, pollen, and viruses, circulating clean air throughout the room.

Safer work and lower maintenance costs
Ceiling cassette PACs are sometimes installed in high ceilings, which requires high-place work for periodic cleaning and overhaul operations. With "Keifu Ag+", overhaul frequency is eliminated, leaving only annual filter cleaning and filter replacement once every five years. This leads to a reduction in hazardous work frequency and overhaul costs.

Suppresses power consumption increase
For example, if you continue operation without cleaning the air filter or heat exchanger, the pressure inside the refrigeration cycle will gradually rise during heating operation, which will also significantly increase power consumption.
In one case, it was operated without any maintenance, and after about four years, due to high pressure rise, performance dropped significantly, resulting in wasting about 40% more electricity compared to the case where regular maintenance was performed, as shown in the figure below.

Using Keifu Ag+ improves filter collection performance, suppresses coil clogging, and is expected to maintain performance and reduce power consumption.

High performance backed by proven technology
Third-party test of filter antibacterial performance
To prove the bactericidal effect of the Hydro-Ag+ treated filter, performance testing was conducted by a third-party organization (Mirai Co., Ltd.).
It has been proven that filters treated with Hydro-Ag+ reduce bacterial growth to about one-tenth compared to untreated filters.
[Test overview]
| Testing institution | Mirai Co., Ltd. |
|---|---|
| Test method | Cultivate untreated filters and Ag-treated filters on potato dextrose agar medium (30°C / 5 days) |
[Disinfection test results]
| Target | Unused filter | Ag-treated filter |
|---|---|---|
| bacterial count | 1,565 pcs | 185 pcs |

Third-party comparative test of filter fungal removal
A third-party organization (Kurashino Kagaku Kenkyusho Inc.) verified the mold removal performance of the filter inside a test booth (Figure 1) in accordance with the Japan Electrical Manufacturers' Association (JEMA) standard HD-131, "Test method for removal performance of air cleaners against airborne mold and airborne bacteria."
As shown in Graph 1, compared to natural decay (manufacturer's genuine filter), the antimicrobial-treated filter demonstrated the removal of 99% of fungi after 90 minutes.

Proven installation record
It is used in numerous public and private facilities, including government buildings, airports, stadiums, financial institutions, factories, and educational facilities.
